Principal’s Message

Dear Parents,

Please join us in celebrating Catholic Schools Week, our annual cele- bration of what makes education at St. Patrick School outstanding. Starting with Sunday Mass on January 25, we have a whole week of activities for the students and families and plan to celebrate the com- munity we have built to educate tomorrow’s citizens and church lead- ers.

This year’s National Catholic Schools Week theme centers on com- munity: “Catholic Schools” Communities of Faith, Knowledge, and Service”. The theme highlights the fact that schools are not only com- munities themselves; they are also part of many other communities, including families, parishes, towns, and our country.

I hope you will be able to join us for some of our activities. We will have a short prayer service on Monday morning to honor the parents in our community and a family hot dog lunch, and Mass and grand- parents day later in the week. Please check the flyer in the Shamrock for the list of events.

We will also have a Prospective Family Open House on Sunday from 11-1. This is a time for families who may be interested in St. Patrick School to stop in and tour the campus. You could win an Amazon prize for referring a family to visit, so spread the word about our great school!

I am grateful every day for the teachers, staff, board members, par- ents, and volunteers who make our school a success. National Cath- olic Schools Week is a wonderful time for all of us to thank them for their dedication and service.

Blessings on your weekend!

Maureen Halderman
