St. Patrick’s Campus

St. Patrick Catholic Preschool-Jr. High School is located in the City of Arroyo Grande, on the beautiful Central Coast of California, halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco. Arroyo Grande is a town with agricultural roots and a charming atmosphere. Our campus is located where there was once a pasture with wide open spaces around it. Much of this open space is still evident on our campus, today.

Consisting of three seperate buildings, a gymnasium annex and two modular buildings, the ‘lower’ campus houses grades 1 through 8, Art, Science, Music, Spanish, the Administrative offices, the Computer Lab and the Extended Care Program. The ‘upper’ campus houses the Kindergarten and Mercy Preschool, a chapel and meeting rooms. That building was originally the Sisters of Mercy convent, thus tying the history of the school and property to our present day school.

The campus looks out over the City of Arroyo Grande, the Arroyo Grande Mesa, the Oceano sand dunes and the Pacific Ocean. Our weather is temperate, with an average temperature of 66 to 72 degrees, with morning fog and afternoon ocean breezes common. Our students are able to enjoy their lunch and recess times outside on our large playground and field area in the fresh air. We have a ‘just shy’ of a quarter mile track that is used for play and competition. The entire campus is fenced with entrances through one driveway and one walkway.
